(Limited Guarantee and Terms of Sale)
Our guarantee requires that you have your veterinarian examine the puppy
within 5 working days of the date of sale. If your veterinarian finds a
serious health problem (within the above time frame), you may return the
puppy and receive a refund of the purchase price. You must immediately
notify us of the problem, and you must provide a written description of
the health problem from your veterinarian. All associated costs, including
veterinary fees and transportation costs, are your responsibility.
Our puppies' hips are also guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase.
If you suspect the pup could be dysplastic, you must notify us and have a hip
x-ray performed by a veterinarian of the seller's choice, and have it evaluated
by Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) or a veterinarian of the seller's choice.
If the puppy's hips are determined to be dysplastic, we will provide a refund of
the purchase price or a replacement puppy. All veterinarian or other expenses
incurred are your responsibility.
Research has shown that canine hip dysplasia is influenced by diet. Therefore,
the purchaser of a Tecumseh puppy must agree to feed Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy
formula for the first year.
In the event that the buyer is unable to keep the puppy purchased
from Tecumseh Labradors, the dog will be returned to the seller or
proper arrangements will be made for a placement in a home agreed
upon by both buyer and seller.
The guarantee requires that the dog carry Tecumseh's as the prefix to its
registered name. Our puppies are usually sold with "limited registration",
which means that offspring of this dog are not eligible for registration with AKC.
The guarantee is null and void if there has been a transfer of ownership.
