TECUMSEH'S SIRE

Ch Layloch's Samson at Tecumseh CGC (Sammy)

Ch Layloch's Samson at Tecumseh Sammy's sire was Ch. Tabatha's Drifter at Dickendall JH and his dam's sire was Ch. Graemoor Tim JH CD (1995 Westminster Best of Breed). Sammy's pedigree has a strong English influence. He has excellent structure with good bone and coat. Sammy has a wonderful happy disposition. He is about 23.5 inches tall and weighs about 86 lbs. Sammy had a group 2nd against 274 sporting dogs. Sammy finished his championship with three majors, including a 4-point major from the puppy class. He also does very well in the field, is an excellent marker and can use his nose. Sammy is a great all-around dog - he can do it all! The picture on the right was taken when Sammy was seven years old, and the picture below was taken near his eight birthday.

Sammy's OFA hip evaluation was excellent, elbows and heart are normal, and his eyes are CERFed annually. Sammy was also determined by Optigen DNA analysis to be clear from Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA). This is a genetic eye disease that results in blindness. No puppy produced by Sammy will ever be affected with PRA.
